Yoga

Yoga is a way of creating oneness with body and mind or what is referred to as body awareness. Utilizing a multi-session approach, clients develop body awareness focused toward individual goals. They gain new tools to facilitate changes in habitual patterns and alleviate unwanted chronic pain in tandem with massage therapy. This approach allows us to work together actively and passively breaking through unwanted patterns in the body.

Session Intentions 

Each session is tailored to the client with the full package will including:

  • Customized treatment plan focused around short term and long term goals
  • Sessions begin and end with yoga poses specific to treatment needs
  • Massage treatment focused on areas of limitation identified during poses
  • Home yoga routine designed for continued treatment between sessions
  • Home log to document improvement over the course of the treatment
  • Deeper understanding of yoga and your bodies capability
  • Lifelong body awareness and more control in your healing process

Sessions include, but are not limited to, participation in meditation techniques, yogic breathing techniques, performing various yoga postures, as well as hands on adjustments by the instructor. Yoga postures, or asanas, are designed to exercise every part of the body with a focus toward stretching and toning muscles, joints, spine, and entire skeletal system. These poses also work on the internal organs, glands, and nerves in the body. Yoga is an individual experience that will vary day to day.
 

Session Structure 

Yoga & Massage sessions are available for 90 and 120 minutes at the same rate as other session options. Clients beginning Yoga & Massage work are expected to commit to a minimum of 6 (weekly to monthly) sessions for maximum long term benefit. Packages can be purchased for five sessions and the sixth session comes free.

Five 90 min sessions @ $100 each = $500

Five 120 min sessions @ $120 each = $600

Payment for the package can be broken into two transactions paid at the time of the first and third session. 

 

Between Sessions

An individualized 5-10 min daily home routine will be developed for you to do in-between sessions. This routine will aid in the healing process and continue to expand the work we achieve during a Yoga & Massage session. A journal will be provided for you to record changes, limitations, and overall progress as you journey through the training.
