KETHRY BOETTCHER, LMT, RYT

About

My name is Kethry Boettcher and I believe each day is a gift worthy of celebration, filled with joyous possibilities and inner peace. An eclectic background in movement and healing arts enables me to bring to my practice the personal life-changing experience massage therapy and yoga can offer. Be it relaxation, injury treatment, or health management for an active body, massage and yoga creates fortitude, fluidity, and transformation as an individual heals and reinvigorates their journey through life.

Take time to bring balance to your life.
Celebrate and care for yourself today with a session.

~ Education & Background ~

I opened my private practice in 2011 after graduating from the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in the 1,000 hour training program. Since that time I have attended over 350 hours of continuing education, worked at the Seattle Tennis Club, and in the Downtown Monroe Therapeutic Massage clinic. Then in 2016 I expanded the practice to include the healing benefits of yoga after graduating from the Hatha Yoga Center 200 hour program as a Registered Yoga Teacher.

I have a background in movement studying the arts of Stage Combat for 14 years as a member of the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD). In these studies I experienced the development of body patterns and repetitive action injuries. After seeing many of my comrades deal with pain or injury it was time to expand my studies within a healing setting.

Additionally, I worked for 10 years in medical research at the University of Washington and PATH. The work ranged from Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Breast and Ovarian Cancer, Diagnostics, and Nutrition. My time in these fields facilitated greater understanding in the complexity and healing powers within the human body.
